What makes me, me? The basic Buddhist observation, that no fixed, identifiable self can be found, is often misunderstood. In this six-part mini-series, Lamas unpack the philosophy, de-mystify millennia of yogic exploration, and tender a glimpse of freedom from the tyranny of self-preoccupation.
The burden of self-image, with its attendant prison of isolation, we call "selfieness". It can however be left behind. Our seemingly solid sense of self, when investigated with direct awareness, is found to be a fiction: a useful construct, but a pale and inadequate reflection of our innate goodness.
