A Day of Teachings and Meditation Practice in the Dzogchen Tradition of Nyoshul Khenpo Rinpoche and Lama Surya Das
The Rainbow of Liberation: Longchenpa's Four-Themed Precious Garland
This is a comprehensive summary of the path of awakening from the perspective of Dzogchen, by one of the tradition's greatest masters, the 14th century Longchen Rabjam.
There is still room to join us for a peaceful and restorative day of retreat, dedicated to the practice of natural meditation. We will focus on the liberating power of direct Awareness, as well as explore the psychologically-astute supporting practices of love and compassion.
The day will offer dharma talks & instruction, guided & silent meditations, Q&A, as well as lively chanting and inspiring prayers. Additionally, there are wonderful snacks and connection to be enjoyed with others, sharing in this special time together.
The day is appropriate for all regardless of experience or background, and is offered free of charge. Please register to reserve a space and gain access, since the venue is within a gated community. Further details will be sent upon registration.
(If you have already registered, there is no need to do so again and we look forward to seeing you on the day) Practices will be led by Dzogchen Center national assistant teachers Daniela Coriat and Christopher Coriat, who teach regularly at Lama Surya's seasonal and advanced retreats nationwide, and have been direct students of his for over 15 years.
This event is sponsored by Dzogchen Center Southern California practice groups, and will be held at Laguna Woods Village Clubhouse 2 (Gate 12). There is ample free parking.
